HoopsRush is a fast NBA draft game. Every round you spin to land on a franchise and a decade, then pick one player from that era's board. Five picks build your all-time starting five — one per position. When the five is complete, the season simulates and you watch your run play out, game by game.

Before you play you pick your franchise. You can change it anytime in the menu, or just for one run from the team bar in a draft. When the spin lands on your franchise, those players get a +2 rating boost when you draft them — loyalty pays.

Full Season, Playoff Rush, and Undefeated enforce five different decades — you cannot draft two players from the same era. Daily Rush and async friend challenges use a shared date-seeded deck: decades are not enforced, but some landings may be dead if no player fits your open slots. Live Play a Friend and Global Domination also share a deck with no decade rule — both players snake-draft from the same boards.

Every player card carries an overall rating from their real careers in that era. Your five's combined strength drives the simulation: each game's margin comes from the strength gap plus the bounce of the ball — a great team still drops games, which is why 82-0 is nearly impossible.

Full Season: draft five and play an 82-game season — make the playoffs and every series plays out game by game until you are eliminated or win the title. Playoff Rush: seed the bracket and jump straight into playoffs. Undefeated: chase 82-0 with no playoffs. Daily Rush: everyone drafts from the same date-seeded boards, then runs a playoff rush — results post to the daily leaderboard. Play a Friend: choose a live snake draft (single championship game) or an async ?vs= link (best-of-7 after both teams draft). Global Domination: live draft vs the next player in the queue, with a seasonal ladder.

Live PvP is a single championship game after a snake draft — watch their board while they pick and mind the 10-second clock. Async ?vs= challenges are best-of-7: you draft solo, share the link, and your friend drafts the same boards before the sim runs. In live drafts, if you leave, the game picks for you, and a player who disappears forfeits. The winner gets bragging rights: one trash-talk line, straight to the loser's screen.
